F+R 90 ("the app") is a companion tool for retained firefighters of Fire and
Rescue NSW Station 90 Menai. It is operated by InteractiveWebs
(interactivewebs.com) on behalf of the brigade.
What the app collects
Your Gartan username and password are used once, at
sign-in, to verify your identity directly with Gartan (FRNSW's rostering
system at retained.fire.nsw.gov.au). The password is transmitted over HTTPS
to Gartan only and is never stored on the device or on our
servers.
Your name, member initials and Gartan username are kept
on your device so the app knows who you are, and your initials are held by
our server to attribute responder statuses (e.g. "on the way") to you.
Responder status you set during an incident is shared
live with other signed-in brigade members.
What the app displays
The app shows brigade-operational data sourced from public pager feeds and
Gartan: incident pages, station availability, platoon rosters, station contact
numbers and six-month incident attendance figures. This data is visible only to
signed-in brigade members.
What the app does not do
No advertising, no analytics, no tracking SDKs.
No data is sold or shared with third parties.
No location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera access.
Data retention and deletion
Signing out removes all pager data and your identity from the device and
ends the server session. To have your responder history removed from the
brigade server, contact the operator below.
